Overview
As an Intel Analyst at Keoghs you will extract and analyse intelligence from diverse sources to support insurance claims. You will prepare evidence-led reports, witness statements, and briefings for lawyers and clients, contributing to fraud detection and case resolution. You’ll work with advanced analytical tools to produce proactive intelligence and deliver findings under tight deadlines. This role sits in the busy Intelligence Team and offers exposure to civil proceedings and cross-functional collaboration. The opportunity combines fraud insights with courtroom-ready evidence to drive case outcomes.

Responsibilities
- Analyse claims files and provide outcome-focused reports to Clients and File Handlers
- Research using desktop systems to validate or refute concerns and detect fraudulent information
- Compile profiles on individuals/groups involved in suspected fraud
- Prepare witness evidence for civil proceedings where necessary
- Utilise IT software (advanced level) to produce proactive intelligence reports
- Deliver structured briefings to lawyers and clients on key facts
- Prepare reports on intelligence-led fraud risk assessments for insurance fraud and fraud rings
- Produce reports/briefings following the Intelligence Cycle and the National Intelligence Model (NIM)
- Mentor Trainee analysts informally where appropriate
- Meet daily chargeable targets and comply with SLAs
- Record time in accordance with Keoghs policy
Key requirements
- Understanding of legal framework for disclosure of intelligence
- Drafting comprehensive and professional reports
- Basic commercial awareness
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good telephone manner
- Confidence liaising with clients/customers when presenting arguments
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure
