We are looking for a practical and organised IT Project Analyst to support a major project delivering a new Freight Forwarding Operating System. This role is focused on understanding how the business works today, helping document processes, supporting system changes, and working with users to make sure the new system works well in practice. It is a hands‑on role, closely supporting both operational teams and IT colleagues during the project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with operational teams to understand and document current processes, particularly within air freight
  • Help map workflows and processes so they can be supported by the new system
  • Assist in identifying simple improvements to ways of working as part of the project
  • Prepare clear, straightforward documentation such as process notes, requirements, and user guides
  • Act as a link between business users and technical teams, helping ensure requirements are understood
  • Support system testing by helping users test changes, logging issues, checking fixes before go‑live
  • Provide support during go‑live, including user questions and system familiarisation
  • Help with training materials and onboarding for new users
  • Work flexibly within the project, updating documentation as requirements or priorities change
  • Build good working relationships across the business to support successful project delivery

Based in DTA Heathrow Branch but the ability to travel to other offices across the UK.

IT Project Analyst - You

Skills & Experience

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Skilled at gathering, documenting and analysing requirements
  • Experience mapping and improving working and operational processes
  • Comfortable speaking with operational staff and IT teams
  • Logical and organised, with a practical approach to problem‑solving
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
  • Confident using Word, Excel and similar MS tools
  • Ability to travel to other offices in the UK

In addition, you will also need the right to work in the UK – we are not able to sponsor work permits.
