Hours: Monday - Friday 08.00 - 17.00hrs (37.5 hours per week)

This interesting role provides an excellent opportunity for an individual who is confident at building and maintaining relationships with customers in order to generate and increase the business. The position offers the individual the opportunity to work in one of the fastest growing departments within the Group and possible future career advances due to expansion.

Responsibilities will include:

  • The handling of Road Import services
  • Managing some of our key clients
  • Ensuring the key client’s requirements are met
  • Sending custom clearance instructions
  • Tracking and booking in deliveries

This position is based at Crossways Business Park in Dartford which has good road, bus and rail links. In addition, you will need the right to work in the UK - we can’t sponsor work permits.

You:

  • Experience dealing with road freight preferred but not essential as full training will be provided
  • Excellent communication skills with both internal colleagues & external customers
  • Good knowledge of Excel
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Hands-on approach
  • Process driven with the ability to think outside the box
  • Delivering the highest standards of customer service
  • Organisational skills to help the department work towards paperless
  • Willingness to learn new skills
