Davies Turner has an exciting opportunity for a Contracts Supervisor to join their team based in Severn Beach, Bristol.
Job Type: Full - Time, Permanent
Hours: Monday - Friday, 09.00 - 17.30hrs (37.5hrs per week)

A little about Davies Turner Group: Davies Turner Plc is a British based multimodal freight forwarder specialising in logistics, e-commerce and warehousing. As one of the largest independent freight forwarding companies in the UK we manage freight from around the world, by road and rail, through the air and across the oceans.
The Role: As a Contracts Supervisor you'll support the Contracts Manager in supervising day-to-day operations, ensuring accurate, efficient, and compliant delivery of logistics and contract activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor KPIs, service levels, trends, and potential risks, supporting corrective action
- Support revenue and cost monitoring, identifying efficiency opportunities
- Supervise operational administration relating to stock control, distribution, and documentation
- Investigate any discrepancies and liaise with the warehouse to ensure the highest levels of stock integrity are maintained
- Ensure compliance with operational procedures, customs requirements (where applicable), and quality standards
- Maintain the effective operation of the Warehouse Management System, maintaining data integrity and working closely with the IT department to ensure the system responds to future needs effectively
- Coach, support, and provide day-to-day guidance to the Co-Ordinator(s)
- Ensure effective holiday cover and handovers within the team
- Maintain accurate records, systems, and reporting outputs
You:
- Essential: Prioritisation, organisation, problem-solving, and handling multiple tasks at once
- Working knowledge of KPIs, service levels, and workflow management
- Bonus: Previous logistics experience (but full training will be provided)
- Communication: Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken and a confident communicator with the ability to influence and resolve issues
