Davies Turner have an exciting opportunity for a Branch Maintenance person based at our Dartford hub to help support with general maintenance tasks within the site.
Location: Dartford, DA2 6QJ

Salary: £20,795.00 per annum
Job Type: Initially Fixed Term 12 months, Part-Time
Working Days: Monday - Friday
Hours: 30 hours per week (between 08.00 - 16.00 negotiable)

The Role: We are seeking a proactive and versatile Branch Maintenance person to undertake a wide range of maintenance tasks across our branch. You will be responsible for the upkeep of both our buildings, maintaining a tidy and safe yard. This role requires a practical individual with a strong work ethic and the ability to manage tasks efficiently. This position is based at Edison’s Business Park, Crossways in Dartford, which has good road, bus and rail links.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out routine building maintenance tasks and repairs, including minor plumbing, decorating and carpentry
- Ensure the interior and exterior of the buildings are well maintained. Address any maintenance issues promptly and effectively
- Meet and oversee works carried out by FM service contractors
- Maintain a clear and organised car park and yard area including litter picking, clearance of leaves and general weeding, cutting back low-level branches
- Low-level painting and maintenance of internal areas to ensure office areas look presentable
- Clearing blockages and other basic plumbing requirements
- Cleaning and positioning of accessible CCTV cameras
- Responsible for flushing through running water outlets and keeping a record as part of legionella management
You:
- Proven experience in general maintenance tasks
- Practical skills in basic plumbing, decorating and general DIY
- Reliable with excellent time management
- A proactive and enthusiastic approach, eye for detail and problem solving skills
- A good communicator and able to organise workload
- Ability to work in a team and independently
- Physically fit
- Abide by Safe Working Practices and Company Policies
