About the Business
A well-established insurance brokerage is seeking an experienced and motivated Office Manager to lead operations at its Croydon office. This role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic team that supports small and medium-sized enterprises with tailored insurance solutions.
The Opportunity
The Office Manager will play a key role in supporting both the Sales and Existing Business teams, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, excellent customer service, and compliance with industry standards. You’ll also play a key role in advising members, supporting Account Executives with new business, and driving service excellence across the board.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inbound and outbound calls related to sales, renewals, and customer enquiries
- Prepare and issue quotations, new business, renewal, and mid-term change documentation
- Assist customers in protecting their assets and liabilities
- Achieve individual and team sales and retention targets
- Support compliance and operational processes
- Build and maintain relationships with insurers and underwriters
- Act as a referral point for team leaders and assist team members in achieving KPIs
- Participate in regular management meetings to discuss performance and development
- Contribute to continuous improvement and team progression
About You
- Proven experience in selling SME insurance products
- CII FIT qualification (or working towards)
- Experience in a broker or branch-based insurance sales role
- Strong understanding of the UK insurance market
- Familiarity with e-trading platforms (Acturis experience beneficial)
- Proven track record in meeting sales targets
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
