Our client, a leading legal services provider, are looking to appoint an experienced EL/PL Team Leader to lead, motivate, mentor and develop all team members, ensuring the team meets objectives and delivers an outstanding service to their clients, whilst delivering commercial benefit to the firm. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a thriving Practice, leading and overseeing the team in delivering a diverse caseload of Employer’s Liability (EL) and Public Liability (PL) claims for high-profile clients. This role offers a dynamic and rewarding environment for a confident and strategic legal professional.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Identifying and implementing appropriate learning activities to ensure the highest standards are maintained and developed.
  • Manage client finances and control team costs to ensure that work is delivered profitably.
  • Act as the first point of contact for clients.
  • Deliver personal caseload to the fulfilment of personal targets.

About you

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience leading a team to deliver on outcomes within the insurance/legal sector; supervising a litigated caseload and developing individuals; and developing others, whilst displaying strong knowledge of all stages of the litigated claims handling process for Casualty claims; have proven experience handling a litigated caseload unsupervised; with highly developed knowledge of processes, systems and procedures. You will also show strong commercial awareness; possess excellent organisational and communication skills; and an ability to initiate and maintain effective business relationships.
