Collections Executive – Fully Remote (Contract)

We’re looking for a Collections Executive to join our client’s growing Vehicle Finance team on a 6-month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference, supporting customers with empathy and care while working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
The Details

• Start date: 17th November
• Contract length: Initial 5 months (potential to extend)
• Day rate: £180 per day (Inside IR35, via umbrella company)
• Location: Fully remote

What You’ll Be Doing

• Speaking with customers by phone and email to understand their circumstances and agree on affordable repayment arrangements.
• Supporting customers in financial difficulty, including managing the return of vehicles where necessary.
• Identifying and assisting vulnerable customers, referring them to specialist teams when appropriate.
• Maintaining accurate records using collections software.
• Handling and escalating complaints in line with processes.
• Sharing ideas to continually improve the customer journey.

What We’re Looking For

• Excellent communication and listening skills, with the ability to show real empathy.
• Resilience and professionalism when managing sensitive conversations.
• Experience in a customer-facing or contact centre role.
• Knowledge of credit, debt, and financial regulations (CONC, CCA) – desirable but not essential.
• A proactive, positive attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
