We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior Billing Assistant to support a law firm's finance team in delivering exceptional billing and reporting services. In this vital role, you will collaborate closely with the Billing Manager and Financial Controller, ensuring timely and precise client invoicing while contributing to process improvements and system upgrades. Required Skills:
- Expertise in Excel with strong numerical and analytical abilities
- CIPA or CITMA qualification (essential)
- Solid understanding of VAT rules related to billing (preferable)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise confidently across all levels of the organization
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proven experience working in a partnership or professional services environment
- Tactful, persistent, and confident when dealing with senior personnel and clients
