You will play a key role in delivering insight-driven modelling outputs to support brokers, clients, and reinsurers, while contributing to the continued development of innovative modelling solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Perform detailed catastrophe modelling analysis across client portfolios
- Interpret and present modelling outputs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Support brokers with data-driven insights and scientific evidence
- Present modelling assumptions, methodology, and results to clients and reinsurers
- Translate business and broker requirements into practical modelling solutions
- Manipulate, validate, and structure complex datasets for modelling purposes
- Contribute to the development of new tools and approaches to enhance modelling capability
- Stay up to date with latest developments in catastrophe modelling and analytics technology
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Strong experience with vendor catastrophe models (e.g. RMS Risk Modeller/RiskLink, AIR Touchstone)
- Advanced Excel and SQL skills
- Strong analytical capability and comfort working with large datasets
- GIS and Python experience advantageous
- Strong communication and presentation skills
