Base pay range Our client, a leading legal services provider, have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented Pre-Litigated & Assistant File Handler to join their dynamic Claims Management team. This hybrid role offers a unique opportunity to manage a caseload of pre-litigated EL/PL and suspected fraudulent claims, while also supporting senior file handlers with delegated authority cases.
This is an ideal position for someone looking to grow their legal career in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, with exposure to a wide range of fraud types and legal processes.
Key Responsibilities include:
Pre-Litigated Case Handling:
Managing a caseload of suspected fraudulent insurance claims from identification to resolution or litigation.
Conducting detailed evidence reviews and setting case strategies in line with client and internal guidelines.
Liaising with relevant parties to carry out investigations and ensure timely progression of cases.
Identifying strategic litigation opportunities and contribute to client trend analysis.
The ideal candidate will have experience handling pre-litigated claims or supporting legal casework, with strong analytical, communication, and organisational skills, and an ability to manage deadlines, prioritise tasks, and work under pressure. You will also possess a legal education (ILEX, LPC) or equivalent experience; have worked on EL/PL or Fraud related claims; litigation or advocacy experience; and a commitment to client care and service excellence.
