If you’re an ambitious Business Development Manager looking to take the next step in your career, this could be the ideal opportunity. I’m working with a rapidly growing wealth management business that is seeking a proactive, commercially minded BDM to drive new business across the financial adviser market. This is a true hunter role, focused on winning new adviser relationships and introducing advisers to a comprehensive wealth management proposition that includes platform, MPS, DFM, funds and structured solutions. The successful individual will be supported by an experienced relationship management team, allowing them to focus on what they do best – opening doors, creating opportunities and bringing new business into the firm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop and convert new adviser relationships across the UK intermediary market.
  • Deliver a structured business development plan to generate new assets and revenue.
  • Promote a broad suite of wealth management solutions including platform, MPS, DFM and investment products.
  • Conduct face‑to‑face, virtual and telephone meetings with financial advisers and wealth managers.
  • Work closely with senior sales leadership on larger opportunities and platform propositions.
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities using CRM and business intelligence tools.
  • Handover successfully onboarded adviser firms to the relationship management team for ongoing servicing.

Requirements
