The Loss Adjuster Technician supports Adjusters in managing property claims over £25k, handling communication with clients, suppliers, and customers, and independently progressing claims within delegated authority. The role requires strong communication, organisational skills, and experience in property claims.
What will your day look like:
- Managing claims alongside Adjusters and independently when needed
- Handling inbound/outbound calls with customers, suppliers, and clients
- Reviewing and issuing reports
- Resolving queries and complaints
- Appointing and managing suppliers
- Supporting technical decisions within delegated authority
- Managing emails, tasks, and caseloads efficiently
Knowledge and Abilities:
- 2+ years in property claims management
- Ability to review scopes of work and spot errors
- Understanding of claim reserving
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Good numeracy, literacy, and IT skills
- Excellent time management
- Proactive, enthusiastic, polite phone manner
