A leading professional services firm is hiring an IT Infrastructure & Security Manager to take ownership of its infrastructure, cloud, and security agenda and drive a long-overdue transition to Microsoft Azure. Reporting to the Head of Technology, this role will define the Azure strategy and 3-year roadmap, lead infrastructure and security governance, and provide the senior leadership needed to deliver a secure, resilient, and scalable environment. This is a leadership-led role with architectural ownership, supported by internal teams and delivery partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Own infrastructure and cloud strategy, including on-prem to Azure migration
- Define architecture standards, security policies, and governance frameworks
- Lead ISO27001 compliance and Cyber Essentials Plus readiness
- Establish infrastructure lifecycle, change, and configuration management (CMDB)
- Lead and develop a small infrastructure team
- Provide clear reporting on risk, resilience, and progress to senior stakeholders
Key Requirements
- Strong background in infrastructure and security within a regulated or professional services environment
- Proven experience delivering cloud migration and infrastructure transformation (Azure)
- Solid understanding of Microsoft 365, Azure AD, networking, virtualisation, and security controls
- Confident senior stakeholder engagement — able to influence lawyers, partners, and leadership
- Leadership-led mindset with strong technical credibility
