The Opportunity
Our client, a leading legal services provider, have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented Pre-Litigated & Assistant File Handler to join their dynamic Claims Management team. This hybrid role offers a unique opportunity to manage a caseload of pre-litigated EL/PL and suspected fraudulent claims, while also supporting senior file handlers with delegated authority cases.

Key Responsibilities include:
Pre-Litigated Case Handling:
- Managing a caseload of suspected fraudulent insurance claims from identification to resolution or litigation.
- Conducting detailed evidence reviews and setting case strategies in line with client and internal guidelines.
- Liaising with relevant parties to carry out investigations and ensure timely progression of cases.
- Identifying strategic litigation opportunities and contribute to client trend analysis.
About You:
The ideal candidate will have experience handling pre-litigated claims or supporting legal casework, with strong analytical, communication, and organisational skills, and an ability to manage deadlines, prioritise tasks, and work under pressure. You will also possess a legal education (ILEX, LPC) or equivalent experience; have worked on EL/PL or Fraud related claims; litigation or advocacy experience; and a commitment to client care and service excellence.
