The RoleAs an Account Executive based in Surrey, you\’ll support a Senior Executive managing a substantial portfolio of rural clients—including country house estates, diversified farms, and agricultural businesses. You\’ll also be responsible for developing new business across the Southeast, building your own client base and becoming a trusted advisor in the rural community.
Key Responsibilities
Cultivate strong relationships with farmers, estate owners, and rural enterprises.
Deliver tailored insurance solutions that reflect each client\’s unique needs and risks.
Attend agricultural shows, community events, and client meetings to grow visibility and trust.
Conduct on-site visits to assess operations and recommend appropriate cover.
Collaborate with the Senior Account Executive to support their existing book.
Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within your portfolio.
About You
Proven experience in insurance sales and account management, with a focus on rural or agricultural markets.
Deep understanding of rural business operations, seasonal cycles, and associated risks.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Comfortable working independently and travelling to client sites across rural areas.
Cert CII qualified (or working towards Dip CII).
A collaborative team player with a proactive mindset.
