Pharmacy Assistants work both at the healthcare counter and within the dispensary, supporting other team members under the guidance of the Pharmacist. They help ensure the safe, accurate, and timely supply of prescribed medications to patients. Pharmacy Assistants also offer advice on common illnesses and minor ailments, recommend over-the-counter treatments where suitable, and provide lifestyle guidance to promote healthier living.
