# Dispensing Hub Supervisor – AlythClosing on: Oct 26, 2026**Role:** Dispensing Hub Supervisor**Location:** Alyth**Type:** Full Time**Contract:** Permanent**We are looking for an experienced and highly organised Hub Supervisor to take day-to-day responsibility for the smooth running of our central dispensing hub.****This is a full-time position for 37.5 hours per week.****What is a Hub?**Our hub provides a centralised dispensing service for our pharmacy branches. Prescriptions are sent from our branches to the hub, where the dispensing workload is processed by a dedicated team before being returned to the relevant branch, ready for the next stage of the process. By bringing this work together in one location, the hub helps support our branch teams and ensures dispensing is managed efficiently and consistently.The hub is located within our Alyth pharmacy premises but operates as a separate operational function.**Who Are We Looking For?**On a day-to-day basis, the Hub Supervisor will work closely with and liaise with the pharmacist on duty within the premises, while taking the lead on the operational running of the hub. This will include managing workflow and priorities, supervising and supporting the hub team, monitoring productivity and ensuring work progresses efficiently and in line with agreed procedures.The role will also involve working closely with our branch pharmacy teams and wider Operations team to ensure prescriptions move smoothly through the hub and are returned to branches on time.This would suit someone with strong leadership and organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and the confidence to take ownership of a busy operational environment.
