Specialist Orthodontist

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Orthodontist to join our dental practice for one day a week in a mixed NHS and private clinic. Orthodontic therapist support available once a fortnight.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive examinations to assess patients\’ orthodontic needs under NHS using IOTN scoring and also on a private basis.
• Develop customised treatment plans based on individual patient assessments.
• Perform various orthodontic procedures, including the placement of braces and Invisalign
• Monitor patient progress throughout treatment, making adjustments as necessary.
• Collaborate with the dental team (e.g. dental hygienists, assistants, and other specialists) to provide comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Specialist Orthodontist registration with the GDC.
• NHS performer number
• Proven experience with fixed appliances and Invisalign treatments.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: £41,600.00-£52,000.00 per year
