We are seeking an exceptional Head of Risk, Governance & Compliance to play a pivotal role in strengthening and leading our governance framework, driving a positive risk culture, and ensuring the highest standards of compliance across our organisation.

What you’ll be doing
- Leading and embedding an effective governance framework across the organisation
- Driving a strategic approach to risk management, ensuring risks are identified, monitored, and managed effectively
- Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on compliance, governance, and regulatory matters
- Overseeing risk reporting, internal audit processes, and assurance frameworks
- Ensuring compliance with key regulatory bodies (e.g. CQC, Ofsted, Charity Commission)
- Supporting data protection and information governance best practice
- Leading on policy development, review, and accessibility
- Promoting a strong culture of learning, quality improvement, and safety
What we’re looking for
- Proven leadership experience in risk and governance within a regulated environment
- Strong understanding of compliance, assurance frameworks, and regulatory requirements
- Experience working with Boards, Trustees, and Senior Leadership Teams
- Excellent analytical, communication, and influencing skills
- Passion for driving continuous improvement and organisational excellence
Experience within health, social care, education, or the not-for-profit sector would be highly advantageous.
