David Wood Foods is a food manufacturing organisation based in Workington with over 20 years of experience in the food industry. We produce a range of quality products for retail and foodservice industries from seven high-tech factories. We focus on product development, working closely with our customers to create innovative and award-winning products that delight consumers.
We are seeking Production Operatives to join our team in Workington, Cumbria. Your main tasks will include:
- Preparing and packing bakery products according to customer orders
- Assisting in the smooth operation of the bakery by contributing to various tasks
- Maintaining a safe and hygienic workplace for yourself and colleagues
- Completing accurate paperwork
- Ensuring products are packed efficiently, correctly labelled, and in accordance with specifications
- Reporting any out-of-spec products, machinery issues, or non-conformances promptly
- Communicating and cooperating with supervisors and co-workers
- Following procedures, rules, and regulations
- Demonstrating good organisational and time-management skills
