We are currently recruiting for a Hygiene Operative to carry out various duties in and around our site. Based in Scarborough, you will work across all production areas and be responsible for ensuring that all machines and the building meet strict hygiene standards at all times. The role is suitable for candidates who have experience working in small or medium-sized companies and are willing to undertake a hands-on, varied role. Experience in a similar role within a food manufacturing environment is required.
Responsibilities & Requirements
- Carrying out scheduled daily cleaning tasks
- Cleaning processing equipment and production lines to meet required standards, measured through testing of samples
- Deep cleaning of production areas
- Post-cleaning checks to ensure tasks are completed properly
- Ensuring all paperwork is accurately completed
- Complying with company procedures for Health & Safety and Hygiene
- Maintaining cleaning and personal protective equipment in proper working order
