About The Role

Qualifications and Experience

  • IOSH Qualified minimum (Required)
  • NEBOSH qualified (Desirable)
  • Experience within a Health and Safety related Coordinator role (Desirable)
  • Maintained updated knowledge of UK Health and Safety legislation.
  • Strong IT literate with a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office package of software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.)
  • The ability to engage with and influence a workforce to achieve improvement.
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills. Good attention to detail.
  • The ability to accurately collate, manipulate and interpret data and reports and draw conclusions in the context of the working environment.
  • Flexible with a ‘can-do’ attitude to tasks with the ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • A track record in Health and Safety management in a food production or manufacturing environment (desirable).

Schedule

  • 9 Hours Sunday to Thursday with flexibility to cover team members/holidays/BHO
  • 4 weeks Monday – Friday on days while training
  • Full-time, Permanent
  • 28 days Holiday (including)
