SHIFT ENGINEERS – MULTI-SKILLED / ELECTRICAL / MECHANICAL Workington | David Wood Baking £47,000–£54,000 per annum Days & Nights: 6am - 6pm / 6pm - 6am Immediate starts available Due to continued growth and investment, David Wood Baking is looking for experienced Mechanical, Electrical and Multi-Skilled Shift Engineers to join our engineering team. MULTI-SKILLED ENGINEER * Planned and reactive maintenance across the site * Electrical and mechanical fault finding and repairs * Breakdown response to minimise production downtime * Maintenance of motors, drives, conveyors, pneumatics and hydraulics * Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability MECHANICAL ENGINEER * Planned and reactive maintenance of production machinery * Fault finding and repair of bearings, chains, sprockets, gearboxes and conveyors * Pneumatic and hydraulic systems * Welding, fabrication and machining * Identify and implement improvements to equipment reliability ELECTRICAL ENGINEER * Electrical fault finding and repair of production equipment * PLC fault finding and control systems * Motors, drives, control panels and instrumentation * Electrical installation and testing * Support planned maintenance and reliability improvements WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR * Time-served Mechanical, Electrical or Multi-Skilled Engineer * NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, Apprenticeship or equivalent * Manufacturing or FMCG experience * Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills * Ability to read engineering drawings and schematics * Good understanding of Health & Safety * Flexible approach to shift working WHAT WE OFFER * Competitive salary of £47,000–£54,000 * Overtime opportunities * Training and development * Career progression * Company pension * Life assurance * Employee Assistance Programme Interested?
