As Quality Manager, I lead the site’s Food Safety & Quality agenda, ensuring all products meet customer, legal, and BRC standards. I manage the Technical Team and oversee the implementation of HACCP, TQMS, and continuous improvement initiatives across the bakery. This role combines hands‑on leadership with strong cross‑functional collaboration to drive a culture of quality and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Food Safety, HACCP, Quality Assurance, and the Total Quality Management System
  • Manage, coach, and develop the Technical Team, ensuring strong performance and clear objectives
  • Oversee internal & external audits, ensuring non‑conformances are resolved promptly and effectively
  • Maintain up‑to‑date customer specifications, quality documentation, and controlled processes
  • Manage supplier approval, raw material intake quality, sampling, and testing regimes
  • Lead customer complaint reduction through root‑cause analysis, trending, and improvement actions
  • Support NPD trials, process reviews, and recipe validations to ensure product consistency
  • Work closely with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, NPD, and Senior Leadership to maintain standards and drive improvements
