About the role
Accountable for leading, managing and developing the Design and Technology curriculum across the school, especially Design & Technology (Product Design) at Key Stages 3–4 initially. Lead on development of the key stage 5 curriculum. Plan a rich, highly academic curriculum for KS4 and KS5, with a long‑term view extending into the BMA Primary phase. Support scholars’ knowledge in design and develop them into subject experts.
Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status with a good‑honours degree in a relevant subject and evidence of ongoing professional development.
- Excellent classroom practitioner with demonstrable experience of raising standards and successful delivery of the primary curriculum.
- Experience working in high‑performing contexts, helping scholars to overcome significant barriers to learning.
