Finance Partner – Loughborough
Finance Partner in the Trust’s central finance team, located in Loughborough, will support non‑finance colleagues by delivering financial insight, strategic guidance and decision‑making support across the organisation.
Responsibilities
- Provide financial insight and strategic guidance to leaders and decision‑makers.
- Challenge spend and investment decisions to ensure alignment with organisational objectives and drive value for money.
- Support long‑term financial sustainability for the Trust.
- Focus on Estates & Facilities and IT teams.
- Prepare financial forecasts, including capital costs, and communicate cost drivers and variance explanations.
- Assess value for money, recommend improvements, and support financial aspects of business cases for expenditure and operational decisions.
- Work with stakeholders, build trusted relationships and communicate financial matters clearly and effectively.
Qualifications
- Qualified accountant – CIMA, ACCA or ACA.
- Minimum 4 years experience as a Finance Partner (essential).
- Experience assessing processes and controls with consideration of risks.
- Experience supporting commercial financial decisions.
- Experience with month‑end and year‑end close process.
- Ability to present financial information in a clear, easy‑to‑understand format.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, standards and procedures.
