We are recruiting for a Casual Sports Coach, the role will also work closely with DRET Sport and the PE department to ensure the enrichment sessions are planned, reported, and delivered to a high standard. This role is based at various locations across the Trust, mainly Corby, Loughborough and Corby Glen.

Casual Contract - The number of hours per week can be agreed at interview with the candidate.
Responsibilities
- Deliver coaching sessions throughout the week, before, during and/or after school to enhance performance and increase participation.
- Ensure high quality sessions are delivered.
- Collate and report attendance at enrichment clubs that will contribute to the monitoring and evaluation of the Sports Enrichment Programme.
- Help increase participation across all year groups and target groups of students and improve the academy teams.
- Support the PE department in delivering the school's enrichment plan – increasing sports participation and sporting competitiveness at the academy.
- Build close working relationships, or use current relationships, with local clubs and promote to pupils to attend outside of school time.
- Help organise, plan and attend various fixtures throughout the academic year where your teams are competing.
Qualifications
- NGB coaching qualification (minimum level 2) within Netball, Football, Athletics, Rugby or Hockey.
- Passion for sport which could be drawn on to benefit the academy and pupils.
- Excellent organisation and communication skills.
- Ability to plan, organise and deliver meaningful coaching sessions.
- Willing to undertake additional qualifications.
- Additional NGB coaching qualifications.
- Experience of working in schools.
- Holder of a current first aid qualification, or willingness to undertake training.
- Holder of a current safeguarding qualification, or willingness to undertake training.
