We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our friendly and professional team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified dental nurse with experience to gain hands-on experience in a supportive and dynamic practice environment.

The successful candidate will work closely alongside another experienced dental nurse to support the smooth, day-to-day running of the surgery. The role offers a varied mix of responsibilities, balancing clinical nursing duties with administrative support for the dentist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist dentists during examinations and treatment procedures, ensuring all instruments, materials, and equipment are prepared and available.
  • Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any questions or concerns.
  • Support the smooth running of the surgery in collaboration with another dental nurse, maintaining a well-organised and efficient workflow.
  • Undertake administrative tasks to assist the dentist, including updating patient records, managing appointment schedules, and preparing documentation.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and infection control, ensuring all instruments are sterilised and work areas remain hygienic and compliant with health and safety regulations.
  • Contribute to a positive, team-focused atmosphere where patient comfort and quality care are always the top priorities.
  • Keep up to date with best practices and developments within dental nursing to continually enhance patient service and clinical efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Qualified Dental Nurse – A caring, professional manner with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail and a proactive approach.
  • Confidence using IT systems and practice management software (training can be provided).
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a small, supportive team.

Monday to Friday - 7.45am to 5.15pm. Immediate start available. Previous Dental Nursing experience is essential.

Job Type: Full-time. Pay: From £12.71 per hour. Work Location: In person.
