Qualifications and Qualities:

  • Strong patient care skills.
  • NEBDN Qualification required.
  • Dentally Experience preferred.
  • Excellent organisational abilities.

Job Description:

  • Assist dentists during dental procedures, ensuring smooth workflow.
  • Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and materials.
  • Ensure strict adherence to infection control and decontamination procedures.
  • Provide chairside support and reassurance to patients.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and update them as necessary.
  • Handle patient queries and provide relevant aftercare advice.
  • Assist with reception duties when needed, including booking appointments and managing patient records.
  • Support stock control, ensuring adequate supplies of dental materials and instruments.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for staff and patients.
  • Undertake ongoing training and development to keep skills up to date.

Hours: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 8.45am to 6pm, Potential to increase to full-time at a later date.

Pay: Negotiable, depending on experience.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent.

Pay: £12.71-£14.00 per hour.

Experience: Dental Nursing: 2 years (required).

Licence/Certification: Valid GDC registration (required).

Work Location: In person.
