Narro are a team of structural and civil engineers with offices around the UK. The Practice has built up an excellent reputation over 39 years in business. This is a great opportunity to join the Narro Inverness office. The company specialises in Design-led architectural projects, Restoration of Existing Buildings, Sustainable Design and Conservation.

As a fully employee-owned business, team members have an input in the direction of the Practice, as well as access to a comprehensive range of benefits including share options and dividend payments.

We are looking for a Structural Engineer with some relevant work experience to join the team.

General Requirements
  • MEng or BEng in Structural or Civil Engineering
  • Actively training towards or achieved chartership with ICE or IStructE
Job Role
  • Active member of new office with input into development and growth in the region.
  • Carry out structural design calculations and markups.
  • Manage project delivery, regularly communicating with project team and manager.
  • Communicate with technicians to assist with drafting of designs.
  • Attend site meetings, design team meetings and client meetings.
  • Carry out structural surveys and inspections and prepare reports.
  • Price for projects and issue fee letters.
  • To maintain a good relationship with external contacts.
  • To maintain continuing professional development and to keep abreast of technical developments and legislation.
