We are looking for an Engineer to join our Civils Team. This is an exciting time for Narro, as we go through continual expansion, and so presents an opportunity for someone looking to further their career within a thriving engineering consultancy. An excellent opportunity for an up and coming engineer to join an experienced team with strong development and progression available.

A Civil Engineer with skills in civil engineering but mainly focusing on drainage design, project management, and teamwork to join our growing Civil Engineering team.

General Requirements and Attributes
  • Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Working towards IEng/CEng
  • Relevant experience, preferably in design consultancy
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  • Managing and producing technical designs and documents
  • Supporting the team with project delivery
  • Development of engineering solutions and presentation of engineering options
  • Assist in the preparation and monitoring of the budget for projects including the planning, monitoring, and reporting of project resources
General Duties and Responsibilities
  • Fundamental technical knowledge of drainage design and relevant standards
  • Designing SUDS (soakaways, swales, ponds/basins, and cellular storage)
  • Obtaining statutory approvals with SW and SEPA
  • Experience in Microdrainage/Causeway FLOW and able to generate networks design is essential
  • Able to use Autodesk Civil3d (beneficial but not essential)
  • Ability to work as part of an experienced team of professionals
  • Produce technical reports as required
  • High standards of written and oral communication
