Experienced Jeweller / Goldsmith
About the Role
This is a hands-on workshop position in our Altrincham showroom, ideal for a Jeweller who thrives on variety.
You will be entrusted with:
- Carrying out all aspects of jewellery repair and restoration.
- Handmaking bespoke pieces in gold and platinum to the highest standard.
- Setting diamonds and gemstones in a range of styles, including claw, channel, pavé, and flush settings.
- Resizing rings, re-tipping claws, polishing, rhodium plating, and other core bench tasks.
- Adapt to the varied needs of our clients, delivering tailored ideas or solutions and liaising directly with customers when required.
- Working both independently and collaboratively as part of a skilled workshop team.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bench jeweller, including gold and platinum work.
- Competent in basic diamond setting; ideally highly experienced and confident in many setting styles, as well as working with gemstones.
- Strong handmaking skills, with a meticulous eye for detail.
- Ability to manage workload independently and work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Flexible and adaptable to client needs and workshop demands.
