We are seeking an exceptional Head of Risk, Governance & Compliance to play a pivotal role in strengthening and leading our governance framework, driving a positive risk culture, and ensuring the highest standards of compliance across our organisation.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading and embedding an effective governance framework across the organisation.
  • Driving a strategic approach to risk management, ensuring risks are identified, monitored, and managed effectively.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on compliance, governance, and regulatory matters.
  • Overseeing risk reporting, internal audit processes, and assurance frameworks.
  • Ensuring compliance with key regulatory bodies (e.g. CQC, Ofsted, Charity Commission).
  • Supporting data protection and information governance best practice.
  • Leading on policy development, review, and accessibility.
  • Promoting a strong culture of learning, quality improvement, and safety.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven leadership experience in risk and governance within a regulated environment.
  • Strong understanding of compliance, assurance frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience working with Boards, Trustees, and Senior Leadership Teams.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Passion for driving continuous improvement and organisational excellence.
  • Experience within health, social care, education, or the not-for-profit sector would be highly advantageous.
