This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a multi‑disciplinary team to provide person‑centred specialist occupational therapy services to children and adults in the David Lewis School, College and Residential Services. You will join a team of occupational therapists and help shape the future development of the Occupational Therapy services to meet the needs of the people we support, who range in age from 11 to end of life.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Therapy Lead and collaborate with a team of occupational therapists.
  • Carry out assessment and treatment of a specialist caseload.
  • Assess and complete interventions across a variety of environments, including school, college, swimming pool, hydrotherapy pool, farm, cafes, doggy day‑care centre and forest school.

Qualifications:

  • Hold a recognised Occupational Therapy Degree Qualification (or equivalent) and HCPC Registration.
  • Ideally be a Registered member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT).
  • Have excellent communication and organisational skills and be a strong team player with enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.

Salary: £36,763.58 – £39,548.70 pro‑rate 1.0 FTE; £19,854.00 – £21,302.00 pro‑rate 0.6 FTE (dependent on qualifications, skills and experience).
