About The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join us in a role that blends lifeguarding, inclusive activity support, and sports development. Your main focus will be keeping our pool users safe, confident, and supported — but you’ll also play a key part in helping us grow our sports and physical activity programmes across the organisation. You’ll be part of a friendly, values‑driven team who care deeply about creating safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environments for the people we support.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lifeguarding & Pool Operations
- Keeping everyone safe through vigilant, proactive pool supervision.
- Responding calmly and effectively to emergencies.
- Carrying out pool checks, water testing, and supporting plant operations (training provided).
- Helping maintain clean, safe, well‑organised facilities.
- Ensuring we meet high standards in safeguarding, health & safety, and compliance.
- Supporting inclusive swimming, sports, and fitness sessions.
- Helping people build confidence, develop skills, and enjoy being active.
- Creating fun, accessible activities tailored to individual needs.
- Bringing ideas to help shape our future sports and wellbeing programmes.
- Encouraging participation, engagement, and positive experiences for all.
