We are a caring charity seeking an organised and compassionate Medical Secretary & Admin Coordinator to support our Clinical Services team and help ensure high‑quality care for the people we support and their families. This varied role provides essential medical secretarial and administrative support to consultants and wider clinical staff, contributing to the smooth running of clinics in a busy but supportive environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing clinical diaries
- Coordinating consultant clinics
- Producing accurate medical correspondence
- Maintaining confidential records
- Acting as a key point of contact for families and healthcare professionals
About you:
- Qualified Medical Secretary (e.g. AMSPAR Medical Terminology)
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Confident IT user with experience of EMIS and Microsoft Office
- Experience working in a healthcare setting (learning disability experience essential)
- Professional, discreet and values‑driven
- An Enhanced DBS check is required
