At David Lewis, we’re searching for a reliable, hands‑on, and proactive Laundry Operative to join our busy Laundry Team. This is a full time role, but we would also consider part time applicants as well.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Using laundry machinery and equipment confidently and safely.
- Sorting, separating, washing, drying, ironing, and finishing items to a high standard.
- Collecting and delivering laundry across our site — and off site too.
- Packing and dispatching clean items with care.
- Helping keep the laundry environment clean, organised, and hygienic.
- Working as part of a tight‑knit team who will support you from day one.
- Playing your part in keeping standards high, promoting safeguarding, and upholding our values.
- Stepping in to help with any other ad‑hoc tasks that help us keep things moving.
We’re Looking For
- Someone who is reliable, punctual, and takes pride in their work.
- A great communicator.
- Able to work well within a team — but confident working independently too.
- Organised, with strong attention to detail.
- Focused on great customer service and doing things right, first time.
- Willing to learn and use laundry machinery safely and confidently.
- Experience in a commercial or private laundry is a bonus, but not essential. A full clean driving licence is required.
