A highly regarded M&E Building Services contractor is looking to appoint an M&E Quantity Surveyor to join its growing commercial team. The business delivers exciting and varied building services projects across the commercial, healthcare, education, industrial, and public sector markets, with typical project values ranging from £2m to £10m+, alongside larger flagship projects within its national portfolio.

The Role
This position would suit an M&E Quantity Surveyor looking to further develop their career within a successful contractor environment delivering a diverse portfolio of building services projects. You will work closely with operational, commercial, and project delivery teams, helping to manage costs, maximise commercial performance, and support successful project delivery from commencement through to final account. The role offers exposure to a variety of projects and would suit candidates looking to progress within a professional and forward-thinking commercial team.
Requirements
- Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within M&E Building Services
- Good understanding of mechanical and electrical building services projects
- Experience managing subcontractor procurement, valuations, variations, and commercial reporting
- Strong commercial awareness and financial understanding
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project teams
- Good communication, negotiation, and organisational skills
- Experience working across commercial, healthcare, education, industrial, or public sector projects would be advantageous
The salary and level of appointment will reflect experience, capability, and the level of responsibility the successful candidate can take on within the commercial team.
