Due to continued growth and a healthy pipeline of secured and repeat business, the company is looking to appoint an Estimator to play a key role in securing future projects and supporting the continued success of the business.
Working closely alongside the Directors, you will take ownership of tenders from initial enquiry through to submission, helping shape pricing strategy, identify opportunities, and contribute directly to the growth of the company. Projects typically range from £50k to £2m across the commercial, education, healthcare, residential, refurbishment, and mixed-use sectors.
This well-respected building contractor has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects, generating a significant proportion of work through repeat business, referrals, and long-standing client relationships.
The Role
- Working closely with the Directors, you will assess project opportunities, obtain subcontractor quotations, prepare accurate cost estimates, identify potential risks, and help secure commercially successful projects.
Experience required:
- Experience within the building construction sector
- Previous estimating, tendering, pricing, commercial, or project delivery experience
- Good understanding of construction methods, procurement, subcontractor packages, and project delivery
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
