This is an excellent opportunity for a Junior or Intermediate Mechanical Estimator to join a respected and growing M&E Building Services contractor delivering projects across commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, leisure, and public and private sector environments.
The business undertakes multi-service mechanical and electrical installations ranging from smaller works around £20k through to major projects in the £6m region. With a strong reputation for technical delivery and long-term client relationships, the company is keen to invest in developing estimating talent within its pre-construction team.
This role offers genuine progression and structured development, working alongside experienced senior estimators on a diverse range of mechanical building services projects.
The Role
As Junior / Intermediate Mechanical Estimator, you will support the preparation of mechanical building services tenders from initial enquiry through to submission and handover. You will gain experience pricing HVAC, pipework, and mechanical installations, developing both your technical understanding and commercial awareness.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting in the preparation of mechanical building services tenders
- Completing take-offs from drawings and specifications
- Obtaining and analysing subcontractor quotations
- Supporting cost planning and pricing exercises
- Assisting with tender adjudication and value engineering
- Supporting smooth handover to project delivery teams
About You
- 2-5 years experience within mechanical estimating or building services
- Background in HVAC, pipework, or mechanical installations
- Experience working on commercial or healthcare projects desirable
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Keen to build a long-term career within M&E Building Services estimating

Remuneration Package
