This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join a highly respected M&E Building Services contractor delivering projects typically ranging from £2m to £10m across commercial, healthcare, education and specialist sectors.
The business delivers high-quality electrical building services installations including LV power distribution, lighting systems, containment, data infrastructure and associated electrical services across both new build and refurbishment projects.
About the company: This role is with a leading and long-established M&E Building Services contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality mechanical and electrical installations across the commercial, healthcare, education and specialist sectors. The company is known for its collaborative culture, experienced leadership team and commitment to supporting and developing its people.
The Role – Electrical Project Manager: As Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of electrical building services projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover. Working closely with internal teams, subcontractors and clients, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities will include:
- Managing electrical building services projects including LV power distribution, lighting systems, containment and associated services
- Coordinating site teams including Senior Electrical Site Managers and Supervisors
- Managing programme, procurement and subcontractor activities
- Working closely with commercial teams on project cost management and variations
- Attending client and project meetings throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to the highest quality standards
Requirements:
- Experience working as an Electrical Project Manager, Senior Electrical Project Manager or Senior Electrical Site Manager within Electrical Building Services
- Strong knowledge of electrical installations including power distribution, lighting and containment systems
- Experience managing site teams and subcontractors
- Good understanding of project delivery from pre-construction through to completion
- Strong communication and organisational skills
Remuneration Package:
- £65,000 – £78,000
- Car Allowance (£7,500) or Company Vehicle
- Pension
