The Role
As a Mechanical Estimator / Senior Mechanical Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for mechanical building services projects, working closely with pre-construction, commercial, and delivery teams. You will play a key role in the tendering process, ensuring submissions are both technically accurate and commercially competitive, with clear visibility across project scope, risks, and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing detailed cost estimates for mechanical building services projects
- Reviewing tender documentation, specifications, and drawings
- Producing accurate take-offs and pricing schedules
- Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations
- Supporting bid submissions and tender presentations
- Working closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth handover to delivery
- Identifying value engineering opportunities where appropriate
Requirements
- Experience working as a Mechanical Estimator or Senior Mechanical Estimator within the Building Services sector
- Strong understanding of mechanical building services systems
- Experience pricing commercial building services projects

Remuneration Package
