We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join a long-established M&E Building Services contractor and take ownership of mechanical packages across commercial, education, healthcare, data centre, and smart building projects.

Responsibilities
This position of Mechanical Project Manager is a varied role with a mix of office and site visits, commutable from Peterborough, Huntingdon, Cambridge and surrounding areas. As Mechanical Project Manager, youll take full responsibility for delivering mechanical building services packages from pre-construction through to handover. This is a client-facing role, requiring strong leadership and commercial awareness to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.
- Managing the full lifecycle of mechanical projects from design input through to commissioning and handover
- Overseeing site teams and subcontractors, ensuring programme, budget, and quality objectives are achieved
- Liaising with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to drive seamless project delivery
- Providing technical input during design development, coordination, and value engineering
- Supporting procurement, subcontractor management, and commercial reporting
- Ensuring health & safety standards and company procedures are maintained across all projects
