The business delivers high-quality mechanical building services installations including HVAC systems, plantrooms, pipework and associated M&E services, working on both new build and refurbishment projects across a diverse client portfolio. About the company This role is with a leading and long-established M&E Building Services contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality mechanical and electrical installations across the commercial, healthcare, education and specialist sectors. The Role – Mechanical Project Manager As Mechanical Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of mechanical building services projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover. Working closely with internal teams, subcontractors and clients, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities will include: * Managing mechanical building services projects including HVAC systems, plantrooms, pipework and associated services * Coordinating site teams including Senior Mechanical Site Managers and Supervisors * Managing programme, procurement and subcontractor activities * Working closely with commercial teams on project cost management and variations * Attending client and project meetings throughout the project lifecycle * Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to the highest quality standards Requirements * Experience working as a Mechanical Project Manager, Senior Mechanical Project Manager or Senior Mechanical Site Manager within Mechanical Building Services * Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, plantrooms and mechanical installations * Experience managing site teams and subcontractors * Good understanding of project delivery from pre-construction through to completion * Strong communication and organisational skills Remuneration Package – Mechanical Project Manager * £65,000 – £78,000 * Car Allowance (£7,500) or Company Vehicle * Pension * Private Healthcare * 25 days holiday + bank holidays * Career progression within a well-established M&E contractor This role would suit candidates currently working as: Mechanical Project Manager, Senior Mechanical Project Manager, Mechanical Contracts Manager, Senior Mechanical Site Manager or Mechanical Building Services Project Manager.
