The Role
- Approved Electrician (PPM & Testing)
- This is a mobile role with a strong focus on electrical testing (EICR), supported by planned and reactive maintenance, as well as remedial and installation works where required.
- Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) across commercial properties
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Reactive maintenance and fault finding
- Electrical installation and remedial works
- General electrical duties across a range of commercial environments
- Work is carried out across London and the surrounding counties, with jobs planned efficiently to ensure a structured working day and minimise unnecessary travel time.
- This role offers excellent variety, with a clear emphasis on testing, whilst also providing exposure to maintenance and installation works, ensuring a well-rounded and engaging workload.
Working Pattern & Overtime
- Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (daytime hours).
- There are strong opportunities to increase earnings through overtime and additional work, including:
- Evening work (when required)
- Saturday work
- Sunday work paid at x2
- Callout rota with £100 standby
