This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Project Manager to join a respected Building Services contractor delivering high-quality projects across the commercial, healthcare, industrial, education, and specialist sectors.

The role will initially focus on a major fast-track project, providing the opportunity to play a key role in the successful delivery of a significant mechanical installation whilst joining a contractor with a strong pipeline of secured work and repeat business across the South Coast and wider region.

Mechanical package values typically range from £1m to £4m, alongside larger and more complex projects with mechanical values exceeding £10m.

This well-established Building Services contractor has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality mechanical installations and maintaining long-standing client relationships across multiple sectors. You will take ownership of major mechanical building services projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, on programme, and to a high standard. Working closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal delivery teams, you will coordinate project delivery, manage programme requirements, oversee technical compliance, support commercial performance, and contribute to successful project outcomes.

The role offers the opportunity to work on larger and more complex projects whilst playing an important part in the continued growth and success of the business.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working as a Senior Mechanical Project Manager, Mechanical Project Manager, Mechanical Contracts Manager, or similar role within Building Services
  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, plant, pipework, ventilation, and public health services
  • Experience delivering major mechanical building services projects within contractor environments
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of project delivery
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and client-facing skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
