This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Approved Electrician or Testing Electrician to join a respected Electrical Contractor delivering commercial PPM and EICR works across London and the surrounding areas, with realistic earnings of £55,000-£60,000.

The Role

  • Approved Electrician (PPM & Testing)
  • This is a mobile role with a strong focus on electrical testing (EICR), supported by planned and reactive maintenance, as well as remedial and installation works where required.
  • Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) across commercial properties
  • Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
  • Reactive maintenance and fault finding
  • Electrical installation and remedial works
  • General electrical duties across a range of commercial environments

Work is carried out across London and the surrounding counties, with jobs planned efficiently to ensure a structured working day and minimise unnecessary travel time. This role offers excellent variety, with a clear emphasis on testing, whilst also providing exposure to maintenance and installation works, ensuring a well-rounded and engaging workload.

Working Pattern & Overtime

  • Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (daytime hours).
  • There are strong opportunities to increase earnings through overtime and additional work, including:
  • Evening work (when required) paid at x1.5
  • Saturday work paid at x1.5
  • Sunday work paid at x2
  • Callout rota with £100 standby
