Mechanical Estimator | Building Services Contractor | Hampshire | £70,000-£85,000 + Benefits Package This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join a well-established Building Services contractor delivering projects across the commercial, fast-track office fit-out, healthcare, education, industrial, and leisure sectors, with values typically ranging from £1m to £4m.

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, the company is looking to appoint a Mechanical Estimator to strengthen its pre-construction team.

The Role Mechanical Estimator Working closely with the pre-construction team, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and commercially competitive tenders for mechanical building services projects from initial enquiry through to final submission.

You will assess project opportunities, obtain supplier and subcontractor quotations, prepare detailed cost estimates, review technical specifications and drawings, and contribute towards securing profitable and deliverable projects.

Projects include HVAC systems, pipework, public health services, heating and cooling plant, plantroom installations, and associated mechanical building services.

Requirements Proven experience working as a Mechanical Estimator within Building Services.

Strong background pricing mechanical installation projects within contractor environments.

Experience using Ensign estimating software would be beneficial, although training can be provided.

Strong technical understanding of HVAC systems, pipework, public health services, heating and cooling plant, and associated mechanical building services.

Good commercial awareness and analytical ability.
