This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established Building Services contractor delivering projects typically valued between £1m and £4m across the commercial, healthcare, industrial, education, defence, and specialist sectors.

This respected Building Services contractor has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality mechanical building services installations and maintaining long-standing client relationships across multiple sectors. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, the company is looking to appoint a Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor to strengthen its commercial team.

Reporting directly to the Operations Director and Managing Director, you will take commercial responsibility for mechanical building services projects from pre-construction through to final account, ensuring projects are delivered profitably whilst maintaining strong client and subcontractor relationships. Working closely with project delivery teams, you will prepare and manage valuations, variations, cost reporting, procurement, subcontractor accounts, forecasting, and final accounts, whilst providing commercial support throughout the project lifecycle.

The role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of mechanical building services projects whilst playing a key role within a respected and growing contractor.

  • Proven experience working as an M&E Quantity Surveyor, or similar role within Building Services.
  • Strong commercial knowledge of building services projects within contractor environments.
  • Experience managing valuations, variations, subcontractor accounts, cost reporting, procurement, and final accounts.
  • Good understanding of JCT and NEC forms of contract.
  • Strong commercial awareness, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
